Community Are you on a diet, MetaCouncil?

I've lost another kilogram last week, that makes almost 7kg since I started counting calories in MyFitnessPal. A few more and I can switch to holding my weight, while going to the gym to grow some muscles.

nice! congrats

You know what feels awesome? When you clothes feel tight BUT it's in the shoulders and arms!!:D

I broke my diet tonight and regretted lt almost immediately. Nearly threw up what I had for dinner, it was too much ;-;

I will start to do intermittent fasting as a experiment, two days a week. I’ll be allowed to eat only from 12 pm to 8 pm.

I've been doing it for years now and it's great! If you do it just sometimes it will be harder but once you do it more permanently you train your body to not expect food until 12 and then you usually don't feel hunger before it

I'm so tired this year for some reason, I said running never got easier for me even though I've been at it for over a year, but at least I was getting better results, but since this year started running actually got progressively harder each day, at first I thought it's the speed I was going at (even though I didn't run that much faster), because I was trying to speed things up, but that doesn't seem to be the case because I'm gradually running slower again, this has lasted for weeks if not months, every morning I struggle to complete my bare minimum and sometimes I even have to stop a bit earlier, but I try to compensate by taking the uphill routes for days like that just to make sure I tried my best.

Back in November I was basically running almost 2x to 4x the distance I'm currently running each day, I haven't really been doing anything different in terms of diet or sleep, in fact I don't doze off during the day now probably because I don't run as much, but man I feel drained each morning, but I'd feel worse if I just sit and do nothing (I already do jack shit the rest of the day sitting around).

I'll keep at it but man shit sucks :p I also dropped lifting completely because I'm just not in the mood for that crap anymore.

Today I started my vegan-ish diet. Didnt buy beef or chicken, only fruits, vegetables and legumes. And a shit ton of oatmeal.

Damn I really need to get my shit together, I'm still fat as fuck even after eating pretty well, lifting weights and taking long walks. I've been going up and down the same weight now for half a year even when Ive changed my diet.

So I need to figure out how to loose like 4kg per month during summer. The biggest thing I need to learn is how to overcome hunger. Then I need to move so much more, as I said already lift weights in a 3X5 program and walk at least one hour per day but I need to step away from my life that is the computer even more, I should be out and about at least half of the day every day.

So I'm 88kgs now, every week I should loose 1kg. Also I can't be 88kgs because I dont want to be a nazi haha!

I've lost 10kg since the beginning of the year, but I gained 1kg since the start of the Corona crisis. The lockdown (and working from home) makes it a lot harder for me to resist chocolate, chips and fast food.

Are you doing power walks or just normal walks? Gotta increase that cardio or/and make more changes to your intake.

I do some of both, days when I haven't walked much I usually go out for a shorter powerwalk. But yeah for some time the problem has been that I haven't moved pretty much at all. When it comes to intake, I still think rice it that main thing that is bad for me, but I just don't know what to replace it with since I don't have a kitchen nor money.

Those of you that train, do you sleep restless the night when the body heals? The night of the days that I lift weights I sleep very badly and the whole night is just filled with nightmares haha

Don't think so, but I exercise early morning, and I do only cardio most days, my sleep schedule is also weird (I sleep twice per day because I don't have 8hours to spare at night), do you do it during the day or close to bed? Wouldn't be surprised if it has some effect on your sleep though since your body is feeling stressed.

I train in the morning. I always sleep little worried when working out but it wasn't that bad, but I recently doubled the amount of exercise I do and since then it's been crazy, probably just the body super stressed. Usually I never remember my dreams but now I have so many of them, but all of them nightmares haha! Also noticed that I sleep longer, am super lazy during the day and eat junk alot. I remember it was like this just when I started training but it went away.

Old thread, but I started the keto diet to see how it is - and fuck me, first few days, no energy - don't even feel like playing games. Also weird subtle body aches, apparently the keto flu - but did not expect it to be like this lol.
