The release of the Ciel nosurge English patch on PS Vita is finally here!

After 8 years of hard work, Ciel Nosurge, a raising simulation game originally released in an episodic format on Playstation Vita, has received a fanmade English patch for its offline release, Ciel Nosurge Offline, on Playstation Vita. Part of Gust's EXA_PICO franchise (Ar Nosurge, Ar Tonelico), Ciel Nosurge is about raising a former queen and amnesiac girl named Ion in a scifi post apocalyptic universe and helping her uncover her lost memories and save a dying world. Its somewhat unique in that it utilizes entirely touch controls, so when played on an emulator it feels a lot like playing a normal PC game with a mouse! The game received PS4, Switch, and PC versions in the form of Ciel Nosurge DX, however this version of the game does not have an English patch. Despite this, all of its quality of life features have been backported to the Vita version of this English translation, and there's two versions of the translation: one that uses male pronouns for the player, and one that uses gender neutral pronouns for the player. The translation team also worked to make sure the game is compatible on the Vita3k emulator :3
