Genshin/Star Rail for certain coming to Steam

Steam is there, clear as day in the linked accounts section

No lies detected. I'd expect the earliest possible announcement to be on the next Genshin stream on the 13th. Honkai Star Rail has a stream Friday, but Genshin is their main game and they're gonna do a Fortnite collab soon and probably want as many people using the Epic version as possible.

Oh no that would be soooo terrible haha. I'd sure hate for Jensen to have to come crawling back to games.

Finally a skip month for Humble. I mean Star Vaders looks cool but I'm not interested in the rest (and I already have RE Village).

I have a bad feeling about this game, the art direction seems to be taken out from the early to middle of the 2000s, and not in a good way.

I hope it's because they worked on a tight budget to show something semi-finished, but what makes me doubt it is that the UI looks completely bland, and the lightning seems to entirely unimportant to the ambiance, something that was really prominent both in diablo 1 and 2. (neverwinter nights did much better shadows as well)
It looks worse than grimdawn and grimdawn isnt like the most visually appealing ARPG since its like.. a madmaxed version of Titanquests engine if i remember correctly

I tried Nioh 3 demo and I am conflicted.
The first boss was a nightmare that took me maybe 30-40 attempts. I don’t gel yet with the new samurai / ninja mechanics, semi open world makes me run around in circles expecting I missed something, and the story and narration is the worst it has ever been. post first boss I already had no idea what was happening.

But it’s more Nioh.
I expect to be tense for some week.
Because it’s more Nioh, and that’s good.

in all seriousness, despite taking its good chunk of inspiration from Bloodborne, Whithering Rooms played very differently from a soulslike, and I expect the same from its spiritual sequel
yeah, that's really cool, definitely looks like my kind of game :)

This is just a Kickstarter trailer. Probably self funded and made with extremely limited resources. I would not look at it as anything more than setting the tone for the kind of game they want to make. It's possible the trailer was made to pitch the game to publishers and they weren't able to secure a deal. Normally I'd say the final game will have much better visuals and combat feedback but that would require them getting lots of money and time from crowdfunding. Which in turn would require them to set realistic targets when they launch their Kickstarter campaign. The odds of that... well, they're low.

So the people demanding this know that the next person who becomes CEO is going to fire 10,000 of them right? Right??

Or Valve could just tell us a number and I wouldn't have to play detective.

This sentence got me thinking... if you could get Valve to truthfully reveal one objective figure or data point about their business, what would you ask them? I've been thinking about this for a while and all my questions sort of gravitate towards nerdy stats about their CDN. For some reason I can't think of a more interesting question to ask them.

So what would you guys want to know if you could only ask a single question? (And don't be boring by saying you'd ask how much money they make)

Hello, everyone!

I come bearing news... Mona has been updated to v 2.0! It's a major update and all the new features and changes can be found here: https://metacouncil.com/threads/giveaway-bot-v1-1-1-just-released.2482/post-413097 and below in the spoiler tag.

Mona v2.0 - New Features

  • The visuals have been redesigned from the ground up, but it keeps the exact same structural form layout as the old layout.
  • The old layout is now called the “Classical” layout, and can be switched to if you prefer it or aren’t ready to use the new one.
  • The new layout comes with a few QoL UI/UX improvements.

  • This change applies to both layouts.
  • There’s now a new button that allows you to add multiple games in one go!
  • The modal comes with examples that you can quickly copy if you are unsure how it works.
  • The modal also supports the following validations:
    • In-line validation support for each line and format, ensuring there are no duplicate keys or wrong URL formats
    • Error message for the exact line via tooltip
    • A badge counter for Valid Lines / Errors / Duplicate Keys
  • Default Platform Choice
    • This allows you to set the default platform of multiple games that you are giving away via the modal, and you can skip entering the platform (saving you some time).
Additional notes:
  • The Duplicate Key validation logic also extends outside of the modal for anyone using the old way of adding multiple games.
  • There’s also a badge counter that tells you the total number of games you’ve added

  • This has been completely redesigned with a new card-based layoutthat adjusts to different screen sizes:
    • 3 / 2 / 1 card layout depending on how small the screen is
  • Just like with the Add Giveaway Page, there’s an option to switch back to the old Classical layout if you prefer, but you’d be giving up on a lot of QoL features.
Different badges/icons showing you:
  • A countdown timer
  • Whether the giveaway has ended
  • Raffle vs First type giveaway
  • Number of prizes being given away
  • Number of prizes claimed from a giveaway
  • A button that takes you straight to the giveaway post
  • A status badge showing any giveaways you have entered

  • Something that was sorely missing from the older version, but is now present!
  • Your own dedicated giveaway page that shows:
    • All the giveaways you have created since Mona’s launch
    • Edit / Delete giveaways
    • A simple stat header that shows:
      • Total giveaways
      • Games given out
      • Total entrants received

  • Self-explanatory:

  • An alert is sent out for any giveaway that ends with no valid winner.
    • This will alert you to keys that were not claimed.

Please test out the new version and let me know of any bugs or issues that you come across and any other suggestions that you may have.
