Community MetaSteam | February 2026 - Romeo and Rogue: Dead Citadel Requiem

There really is nothing modern that has the same gameplay or vibe as classic TR so I'm not shocked it's popular to do this. 3D platforming largely went in the iterating on Mario 64 direction or just turning 3D adventure games into third person shooters with semi automated platforming.

The block based nature of the levels feels like it would be satisfying to map out interesting platforming challanges too.
that's why playing through those remaster collections is soooooooo comfy

sounds interesting

and this particular game doesn't have gacha stuff?

I won't claim to know anything bout Girls Frontline as a whole but I do know it's a gacha game
Yeah, like others have said, it's one of those "normal" games without microtransaction (except some random DLCs that you don't need). No goon material, too.

Although it's a remake of the developers' first game, they also put the original game (with assets and modernized gameplay from the remake) into this one. You can unlock it after reaching certain point of the story.

steam wishlist somehow bugged out and errored out and made me think a ton of the games I had wishlisted were no longer available or removed permanently so they were no longer valid as a title to even have on my wishlist so I just deleted them
Halfway through deleting a ton of these unvalid games I was looking at the dates and going like some of these are like from barely a month ago or like early 2025 this isnt making any sense
Yeah I refreshed and then looked again and found out I just deleted like 500~ games from my wishlist that I'll never for the life of me remember all of them (Since I use it as a thing more to remember games even fucking exist)

Kind of a big bummer

That's why I use Steamdb or ggdeals for sorting wishlists

CyberConnect2 has revealed .hack//Z.E.R.O. as the new game project that marks the studio's 30th anniversary. The company has also confirmed via a press release that this new game will be an action RPG coming to consoles.

Ys X: Proud Nordics (not banmordicks) embargo just lifted. I have a lot up on RPG Site. First, an interview with Durante (always a pleasure to interview him) to discuss his work on the PC release, him working on adding PSSR on PS5 Pro and DLSS on Switch 2 for the Western release, the challenges with the Switch (1) port of Trails beyond the Horizon, how he justifies niche PC features, his thoughts on the state of PC games, tea (I'll allow it this time), what to expect from PH3 this year, and much more. Read it here.

I also did an article on the PC version. Read that here. Another best in class conversion from PH3.

Since the PS5 version doesn't have the patch I need yet, I focused my console article for embargo on the Switch 2 release comparing how it improved compared to the JP release on S2 from last year. Read it here.

If you're curious about the DLC in Proud Nordics, read this. If you're curious about the save data carrying over into Proud from base game, read this.

With the weekend it's likely this will be its final CCU, so let's look at how Yakuza Kiwami 3 did. It's at the bottom of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon ranking (well, outside of the late Kiwami 1/2 and 3/4/5 Remastered ports), but overall I expected worse with all the news that kept coming out. It seems there is a dedicated fanbase for this series that's there at launch no matter what

I struggled through Man Who Erased His Name and Pirate Yakuza, like shite was I buying a remake of the worst mainline game

FFS, stop targeting high end PCs
Too many people care more about how a game looks than how it plays. They live for the pre-release hype.

I'm not going to comment on dev stuff because I'm not a dev, but I do agree that the spec wars need to end.

Just target every system that's somewhat decent and can have a controller. Mobile, Steam Deck, Switch 2, and so on, and let the people with their 5090s play in 16K 4,000fps or something.
