Tbh out of all the Steam releases from MS this is the one im least surprised about considering Ori 1 released on Steam day 1 and was a huge hit there.

I am surprised that out of all the games they announced, this is the only one without a store page. Let me wishlist it MS!
 
Looking forward to this, I loved Ori. I wonder if they can top the movement tech for that, it felt sublime.

I feel like to them, if you still buy your games you are part of the past and they don't care that much :P
 
The thing that jumped at me the most aside from being criminally beautiful is the quality of the animations and sense of weight on the bosses. Their mastery is unbelievable.

That dof on the backgrounds too, I wonder if the first Ori had one that good.
 
I bought it, man this game looks so good, love the effects from swinging the torch at the beginning, only played it for like 10mins, the intro feels like there're constantly streaming/loading in the backgroud but it seems smooth enough once I got into the gameplay, will play some more and report back later.

Possible performance fix (it helped for me since I was getting the loading/streaming stutter in the intro):

One possible solution is to run the game in exclusive full screen. This can be done by editing the registry:

Launch "regedit" (can just type this in windows search bar):

Navigate to

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Moon Studios\OriAndTheWilloftheWisps

Set Screenmanager Fullscreen mode_h3630240806 to 0 (should be 1 by default).
