Steel Division 2, gargantuan RTS wargame by Eugen Systems , now has a release date. It’s due out on April 4 and can already be preordered on Steam.

The developer has also revealed that owners of Steel Division: Normandy 44 will get exclusive divisions drawn from the original game for free in Back to War pack.[/QUOTE]

In this video, we're fighting a skirmish Battle. This battle was only played once, and wasn't cut it to make it look like the perfectly-executed battle. Some tactical mistakes were made. Some good men died. Damn war.

This video was entirely shot by capturing the game while playing, and by using the in-game replay tool.

I likes me a good WW2 rts, but that war game tactical element is going to kick my ass. Video game tactics don't equate well with a game going for realism. I mean Men of War destroyed me back in the day. This does look like a lot of fun though

We are very happy to announce that our next History DLC for Steel Division 2, The Fate of Finland, will officially release on Tuesday, March 3rd. We are still considering the exact timing of the launch, but rest assured, we’ll let you know first thing when we get closer to the actual release date.

What can you expect?

Steel Division 2 - The Fate of Finland brings a ton of new content, available in solo, coop and multiplayer, including 6 new Divisions, 200+ new units, 2 new Aces, 2 new Historical Battles, and a gigantic new Army General turn-based strategic campaign centered on the Soviet offensive on the Karelian Isthmus in the summer of 1944.

This 3rd of March, The Fate of Finland will launch with:
