The only game I'm waiting for is Hollow Knight Silksong though it doesn't even exist so I'm all for surprises.
Believe Jason Sudeikis GIF by Apple TV

  • Comfy
Reactions: Panda Pedinte
Watched the Thinky Direct. Stuff that stood out:
  • City of Voices: Tried out the demo and I'm not too convinced by the art. But the direct comparison to Golden Idol makes this a tentative wishlist.
  • Parallel Experiment: A co-op point-n-click game! Sounds good
  • Strange Antiquities: I liked Strange Horticulture so I'm down for something in a similar vein. I'm hoping the encounter options open up in this one.
  • He Who Watches: The trailer made my brain hurt in a good way. This looks like a fairly promising Portal-like.
  • EMUUROM: Tried out the demo for this Metroidbrainia. The mechanics are promising but I feel like I'm fighting with the keyboard/controller controls. Why can't I use a mouse :(
  • Birdigo: Great music in the trailer. That's all I have to say, I'm not much of a word game lover.
  • Nonolith: Another Metroidbrainia! Shame it doesn't have a demo
  • Cipher Zero: This is nonograms with extra rules. The demo was fine, the presentation is slick but the concept didn't really grab me. I wondered if there was more to uncover but the game seems to be playing it straight.

Not sure what Im expecting, like there isn't a single game that Im waiting for, so I guess Im in the perfect mindset to be surprised!

Yea Silksong and Snake Eater Delta are the big ones that I am looking forward to in the 2nd half of the year. Both games are long overdue.

There really isn't much else.

The industry does need to start announcing more stuff.

I think Xbox showcase has potential but even that is mostly games taking forever to release like Fable, State of Decay 3 etc. Nothing I super care about either.

This is probably gonna be one of those summers where a lot of indie gems get announced and AAA will be just remakes/sequels.

Also good time for Capcom and Square to show some trailers for next RE, DQ, FF, remakes etc.

Maybe in a State of Play if Sony does one because I don't see Keighley or Xbox doing it.

I wish they'd go back to using sonic characters for these games
