I still don't get why they announced this so long ago. Wonder what the strategy was.

hope they show lots of games, not make it like a token reveal with mario, zelda tech demo and tune in on games direct in x months.
 
They have two treehouse sessions planned, so likely plenty of games!
 
I just wanna see big N games. Multiplatform/3rd party stuff is nice to have for system owners obviously, and I wanna see some to gauge system capabilities too, but really just look forward to seeing the internal studio and collab games.
 
Oh it's 60fps stream, nice, hate it when it's 30fps live when the games can be 60 too and gotta wait for separate trailers.
 
Don't even care to see the Switch 1 game patch upgrades for resolution/framerate tbh, new games to see what they can do with another bump in specs.
 
Like Prime 1 looks so good on Switch, I don't care at all for higher settings or whatever on Switch 2 (since it's not gonna be some complete overhaul/remake of it) but wanna see how Prime 5 will look (guess that's gonna take a few years lol).
 
Maybe "output @ 4K" but probably not the actual res for most games (outside upscaling) unless some 2D indie.
 
I know folks will be ridiculing graphics/power in certain circles but I just wanna see what N studios will do with more power than be4 as usual. I mean, even Galaxy was impressive in PS3 gen and that was almost gen before that specs on Wii :x
 
switch and wii u did not have a big disparity in power. So this one should be a leap for over 10 years to big N
 
So, we getting ARMS2 or some new experiment from that team? Definitely getting a Splatoon. Hope with a lot of meaty single player too not just mp.

500$ will be brutal. But they will sell everything they make the first couple years regardless.

If they don't fuck something up I think the drop will be less than DS - > 3DS. If they do it'll still be fine but that level drop yeah.
 
Fcourse it also depends how they handle it long term, switch lasted so many years, won't be able to tell how it will do from the first few even.
