That removal never made sense given that they made the remaster PS4 exclusive. Now that the Avengers game flopped they may have more incentives to put games like FF7R on PC

I'm sure putting FF7R on PC was the plan all along, they just had to wait for the exclusivity window to end.

Square Enix seem bizarrely fond of doing this. One of the more annoying cases was removing the original version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution from sale and only allowing you to buy the buggy Director's Cut.
