New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Super Robot Wars V. Passed the 30-hour mark and reached Scenario 22. I'm following a guide to get all secrets so I know the total number of Scenario. There are still over 30 left. :face-with-cold-sweat: After this playthrough, I plan to start the NG+ and play the other route, too. So there's a ton of content remaining. On the other hand, I also finished watching Cross Ange. Fun show. Embryo has to be one of the most pathetic villains I have ever seen. Dude is downright disgusting so his defeat in the final episode was very satisfying to watch. Oh by the way, he just started to show up in-game. I can't wait to beat the shit out of him. Salamandinay also showed up and she is my favorite character in the anime (easily), so I'm quite excited to welcome her into my main party soon.

Back to the game, SRW V was very easy at the beginning, but I am pleasantly surprised that it is getting harder in recent Scenarios. Scenario 21 was a huge fight and served as a turning point of the story. Really look forward to playing more.

Finally starting Pokémon Legends: Z-A on Switch 2 yesterday. Haven’t played enough to pass judgment, but this is my first Legends game and I do quite like the real-time battles.

I finished Dispatch on Friday, which was amazing, and I beat all the Grand Prix races in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, so that game goes into my “dip in” list now rather than constant play. I’ll try a few online matches and DLCs, but I am technically “done” with it.

I hate almost every pokemon game and even regret getting some of them in price mistakes because of how boring and ugly they turned out, but legends arceus and Z-A (based on what I played) are great. Z-A's music is also excellent. SV on Switch 2 BC is worth trying though.

I was a fan of the games when I was younger, but I was disappointed by SwSh, so I skipped the SV games.

May try them out on Switch 2 in the future.

It is worth trying to get the game + DLC bundle on a discount when you can. I've noticed it is a bit cheaper to import from Asia than buy and those cartridges have most updated builds also if you care about that stuff.

I'm playing:
  • Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak : I wanted to play some RTS (campaign), and I had this one in my library. I really enjoy the persistent fleet aspect, and the sensor view is also interesting. What isn't great is that the game apparently has a crash bug since release where mission 3 (specifically only mission 3) crashes sporadically when you have shadows set to a higher setting. I have no idea how that can remain unfixed over years of patches, but it is.
  • Nightreign DLC : Which is really neat, and I like that they understated the amount of content before release (I still wish they had added the ER DLC spells though)
  • Atelier Lydie and Suelle : On and off, this is a really long game if you try to basically master the alchemy, because the system is very good. But that also means that you can spend a ton of time crafting a single "perfect" item, and there are a lot of items to craft.
  • Reverse: 1999 : This just had a new content drop, and I really enjoyed the new main story (which is a horror thing on a train from Istanbul to Vienna in 1912 at the start of the Balkan wars).
