Community MetaSteam | February 2026 - Romeo and Rogue: Dead Citadel Requiem

Unlike some people apparently, I'll still play the new Castlevania even if it's a roguelike, but only if it plays as good as Dead Cells. Say whatever you want about the game but Dead Cells feels awesome to play so if they have that feeling for a real Castlevania game, the sign me the F up.

Man that price is so off-putting for DS2, then I see what the states is paying.

Did they actually do regional pricing in my region!?

Still a bit more than I can chew price wise.

I don’t know, I enjoyed parts of it but overall I already don’t remember much from this SoP. I’m forgetting it in real time as I type this.

I'm usually asleep when these shows happen but I was awake today and Sony decided that they had to impress me, personally, and so they went all out... which is why you guys got a good show. You're welcome everyone.

MGS 4 is going to make a lot of people happy. Highlight of the show I'd say.

Biggest surprise for me was Dead or Alive. Genuinely thought the series was finished. Surely Itagaki knew this was happening right? It was, at least partly, his life's work and I hope he knew it wasn't gone forever.

Regional pricing for Postman game 2 is awful.

New Castlevania looked great.

A new Legacy of Kain was completely unexpected.

Yeah, it was a pretty good show.

Is there any reason I'm not aware of, legal or otherwise, why they're skipping the two Blood Omen games? After the Soul Reaver collection, I assumed Blood Omen 1 and 2 were next...

Looks like Master Collection Vol 2 is a single app with the individual games being DLC under it. Unlike the first one where each game was its own app. It's a minor thing but the inconsistency is a little annoying lol. Especially since I really liked having each game being separate in my library.

Was only playing this on Battle.net the other day.

£34.99 for the STEAM version, the expansion is £21.99 alone on Battle.net, so went for the STEAM version.
I'm in a similar situation. Pretty ridiculous pricing compared to the all-in-one. I wish I could opt to give Steam all the proceeds.

Oh, that's annoying. Is there a way to duplicate the app in your library and manually change the cover art so you can kinda have an entry for mgs4 and another for mgs peace walker?

Also, it's kinda curious that this Vol. 2 has way less content than the first. Maybe 99.9% of the development resources were spent on freeing MGS4 for the ps3 shackles? Because this would've been a great opportunity to port the acid games, portable ops, twin snakes, or even revengeance for console people.

I'm playing the latest Honkai Star Rail update and the newest survey outright mentions Steam. It's the worst kept secret in gaming alongside Half-Life 3 (which is totally coming I'm not a schizo honest).

This has been bugging me for a while, and I'm not sure if it's just me or what.

In an event page like this, if I scroll down to the "mega deals" (or "all sales") section, the games would automatically be refreshed constantly. Even when I'm watching a game's micro trailer, the list of games would get refreshed. It's super annoying and I'm pretty sure it's a bug.

Let me browse in peace goddamnit :blobweary:

I'm surprised to see those Dino Crisis ports on Steam considering GOG's involvement in their development. I figured they'd stay exclusive to GOG. I'm happy to double dip, though. Hopefully that means the original RE trilogy will come over eventually.

Steam is now adding the option of including your system specs when leaving a review. Should be mandatory in my opinion but I think people will begin to select reviews that have their hardware specs included to make sure people aren't BS'ing when it comes to performance for a game.

In addition collecting framerate data shows Valve is getting serious about performance information for customers.
